Can't resist the list...
Friday randomness, thanks to Nobody (she's the super in my superfluous...the spec in my introspective...).

The only jewelry I wear regularly (besides my watch) is a pink sapphire in my left nostril.

I have the following taped to my monitor:
a cookie fortune, "you are a lover of words, someday you will write a book"
a sticker that says "I heart my Dinkidoo"
the words "Glam Rock" cut out of a magazine
a Post-it that says "today is a lucky day for those who remain cheerful and optimistic."

I haven't had my hair cut since last October. I think I need one, but people keep complimenting me on it (my $20 hair conditioner is worth a million trillion dollars).

I've always wanted a Harley Davidson motorcyle and someday I will get one.

I have Ranidaphobia. Seriously.

  1. Ribbit. Frogs are funny, but the parable about kissing a frog to find a price is way lame. Who wants to kiss fugly dude to begin with? A prince should be a prince should be a prince. From the word go. Second stream of thought... do princes exist outside of Grimms' fairy tales?

  2. Hee... the Dinkidoo thing is funny. My friend Holly always called it that.

And frogs are our friends. Spiders are what you should be scared of. The only thing a frog can do is tinkle on you. Incidentally, did you know that they first discovered a frog could throw up when they sent it up space? Apparently it had air sickness, because it barfed up its entire stomach, removed its contents WITH ITS FRONT FEET and then swallowed its stomach again. I bet that poor frog was all "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?"

  3. OK, I totally posted a comment first, and for some stupid reason it didn't show up. Dammit!

    Now I can't remember what I wrote, so...GAH!

  4. Anon - yes, princes do exist outside of fairy tales. But they're all gay.

Jem - I had frog nightmares thanks to your vivid description! I thought I would be safe in space.

    Al - GAH right backatcha.

Lilred - I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with a frog fear...and thanks for the compliment!

  5. Touche. I'm still trying to decide who amongst my trove of beloved wonder gay boys... er, men... might make a good match for your prince (to-whom-you-are-not-married!!).

  6. Anonymous - I didn't know it was YOU until just now! As soon as we make a prince and prince match, we'll go out for cocktails and congratulate ourselves for being such great matchmakers! (now I'm going to have the "matchmaker, matchmaker" song running through my head the rest of the day...)

  7. Pretty and witty and gay are we who match your betrothed to my pink steed. I suppose I should have signed in under my name... but I've had such fun being an anonymous voyeur (in the non-sordid sense, naturally)! Eek!
