My favorite Tom Cruise blogquote of the day:
[from Sarcastic Journalist, one of my weekly reads]
When he starts going into his Scientology jargon (which we know he will) I will look him in the eye. After every blatantly wrong statement he makes, I will say one thing.

“Tom, please show me your vagina.”

I plan on borrowing the last line and using it often. As in: "Oh, you think abortion should be illegal, Mr. Bigdickman? May I see your vagina?" and "That's an interesting point you make about access to birth control, Senator Blahdeblah, but would you mind showing me your vagina?"

  1. and I think that just might be the perfect line to follow anything that he says. What an ass.

  2. I don't know why women can get away with saying stuff like this!! If a man did the same thing, and said show me your penis, women would get in a twist about it and say he's discriminating against women!! We should all be entitled to our opinion but I guess if you are a bitch then you don't care.

  3. Heh, I always laugh at asinine comments made by the various anonymous-es out there.

  4. Why should your opinion affect me and my vagina, Mr Anon? Certainly you're entitled to one, but I certainly wouldn't weigh your opinion in my decision.

Ah Kelly, you've started a war.

  5. Mr. Anon: You hit the nail on the head. I am a bitch and I do not care.
And where is your vagina, sir?

  6. I agree with anonymous....Cruise may be a bit wonky but it's his opinion. Who's the idiot for quoting an actor on a subject like postpartum depression in the first place? Besides, people who are unabashed fame whores who give their unwarranted, unneeded and unasked for opinions on any given subject should be the very last person to judge an actual famous person's opinion.

  7. Hey Anon #2, move right along -- no one "quoted" Tom, he volunteered his opinion while being interviewed about an upcoming movie. It was a totally unrelated topic to anyone but Tom. Hence the mocking.

Also? No one who posts anonymously on someone else's blog should be "the very last person to judge" that person based on reading a single post, you hypocrite! (Freedom of speech. Ever heard of it?)

God, I hate people sometimes. Especially the dumb ones.

  8. Oops, I meant "anyone" who posts anonymously.

  9. (cue the Grease soundtrack)

"Look at me, I'm alex leigh, lousy with hypocrisy"

Hey Wanker, I posted because of freedom of speech too, idiot. And I don't want to use my name because I don't feel the need to see it in hypertext with a glossy link to my photo.

  10. Teehee!! I love this game. Hit me with another one!

The next time you write something rude on someone's blog, don't belie your eagerness for a name-calling fight by checking for a response every 30 seconds.

I never said you didn't have the freedom of speech to post a comment, I just told you to move right along. No hypocrite here!

Now if you please, I must get back to my regularly scheduled "actual famous person"-bashing.

  11. (And Kel, sorry for dirtying up your blog with such nonsense. I couldn't resist, but I'm finished now. I feel much better.)

  12. Infamously: Girl, you changed my mind. Let's us and our vaginas go get a mani/pedi and bond over mojitos. C'mon, it'll be fun.

Al: No harm, no foul. I'm just glad I could provide an outlet for your repressed rage.
